Range Rover Evoque owners continue to have problems with a sudden loss of their power brakes, and they've made over 200 warranty claims. That's been enough to get the National Highwaty Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to upgrade their investigation. The investigation was originally opened in December of 2018.

Federal investigators will use data from the new warranty claims as well as data from a group of peer vehicles to determine if and how widespread a potential recall would be.
